Elvin has an important interview next week,so he is going to buy a new suit.

Salesclerk：Hello, sir, what can I do for you today?

Elvin：Hello, I need a new suit. I have an important interview next week, so I really need to look sharp.
（你好，我需要买一件新西装。我下个星期有一个重要的面试，所以我需要看起来神清气爽。）
Salesclerk：No problem! We have a broad selection of suits, all tailor-made so that it will fit perfectly.

Elvin：Great! I want a three-piece suit, preferably made from Italian cashmere or wool.

Salesclerk：Very well, sir. Would you like to have some shirts made also?
（好的先生。你需不需要也做几件衬衫呢？）
Elvin：Sure. I'll also take some silver cuff links and a pair of silk ties.

语言剖析

Sharp本意是锋利的意思，在这里表示穿着精神的的意思Dan really looks sharp today. I think he has an important 今天看起来真是精神抖擞啊。我想他今天肯定是有课重要的会议。I always try to look sharp on Mondays.每周一我都试着让自己看起来神清气爽一点。

这句话的用法也非常棒！很多的，这里并没有用many，a lots of等俗套的表达，而是broad，一下子就把可供选择种类范围之广给表现了出来！我们也可以学着使用这样的表达，for example：大学里面有很多的社团供你选择，We have a broad selection of clubs in university.英语学得好的话，将来会有很多的就业机会可供选择。If we can master English very well，we will have a broad selection of employment opportunities.
