语言剖析

1. I can't decide between the steak and the fish.
I can't decide between the steak and the fish. 我不知道是吃牛排还是吃鱼。
当你拿不定注意选择什么的时候，也可以问What’s the specialty of the restaurant？你们店的招牌菜是什么？再比如小E老师去买西装，同一款式的粉色和黑色都很好看，这个时候就问服务员I can’t decide between the pink one and the you have a recommendation？

2. I personally love the steak here.
personally 就个人而言
Personally 就个人而言，意思等同于In my point of view/I think，最近啊，小E老师有一件苦恼的事情：有位同事经常说大话，我认为他不诚实，可是无奈的是还是有许多人信任他。说了别人也不信我，哎~你们尽管信任他好了，我依然保持我的观点。这个时候小E老师只能说，Personally, I think he is dishonest, but many people trust him.就我个人角度，我觉得他不诚实，信不信由你。

How would you like your steak cooked? 您的牛排要积几分熟？
这是餐厅服务员常用的点餐用语，简单一点也可以用How would you like your steak？

4. Well done
Well done 全熟
牛排分为四个不同的生熟程度，分别是三分熟rare，五分熟medium rare，七分熟 medium well和全熟well done，根本没有八分熟哦？
如果你点了鸡蛋培根，服务员通常会问：你的蛋要怎么做呢？How do you like your eggs cooked?如果随意的话，服务员会说How would you like your eggs？你可以回答Scrambled 炒蛋;Over-easy 煎两面，蛋黄微熟;Over-medium 煎两面，蛋黄半熟;Over-hard 煎两面，蛋黄全熟;Sunny-side up 煎一面（有太阳的那面朝上，是不是很形象呢）

comes with 是”配有，配备的意思”，小E老师最近买了一本英语发音教程，还配有光盘，非常的使用，可以用This textbook comes with a CD.

小E老师到你家里做客，你也可以用Anything to drink?问我要不要喝点什么？当然你也可以像昨天的课程中David老师用的表达Can I make you some coffee or tea？

都说中国人说话含蓄，其实美国人也会口是心非。当老外说fine的时候，其实的意思是bad，不是很情愿。因为小E老师肠胃不好，不能喝太冷的东西，哎，没有hot tea，热茶，那就口乐将就一下吧！这里给大家分享一个小小的文化差异，老外是没有和开水的习惯的哦，所以不要给老外喝热水，会把他们烫伤的哦！

比如周末大家约好一起去看电影，可是电影快开场了，就你没到，朋友打电话给你，你回复到，Don’t be mind.I will arrive shortly.别担心，我马上就到，其实呢，可能你在宿舍刚刚梳妆完毕。我快要到了除了.I will arrive shortly.还可以说I am almost there.
