外教David老师刚刚出差回来，看上去有些疲惫，发生了什么事情呢？
David just arrived at Nanjing with. And he looked tired, so what happened to him？

Elvin：Morning, David, how was your trip?
（早，David，出差顺利吗？）
David：Morning, Elvin, the trip was good. I had some really good meetings.
（早，Elvin，还不错。几个会议都挺成功的。）
Elvin：That's great. You look tired. Jet lag?
（那就好。你看上去有点累啊，时差是吗？）
David：Yeah. That and my flight was delayed by 4 hours.
（对。时差，再加上我的航班延误了四小时。）
Elvin：Really? What happened?
（真的？怎么会？）
David：Bad weather. There was a storm. I didn't get home until 2 a.m.
（天气原因，碰到风暴。我凌晨两点才到家。）
Elvin：Oh, I'm sorry to hear that.
（哎哟，真辛苦。）
David：It's OK. At least the flight wasn't canceled.
（没什么。至少航班没取消。）
Elvin：Well, take it easy and try to get some rest.
（你今天放松点儿吧，好好休息。）
David：Thanks! Will do.
（谢谢！我会的。）

语言剖析

1. Morning, David, how was your trip?
check in 一般指的是机场办理登记手续，在酒店的话也可以表示登记入住。这种问候很简单，也很自然，morning相对good morning更加亲近，how’s your trip？出差顺利吗？How’s your ...是一种非常自然的打开问候的方式，通常继续上一次的话题，比如上周你们聊到你的老外朋友要参加一个真人秀节目，那这周再次碰到的时候就可以以Morning，how was your show？来问候对方，通常老外会用good来回答，表示还不错，还可以，挺好的。

lag
Jet lag是时差的意思，这是一个专门的表达，所以我们平常编出来的time difference是错误的，老外是听不懂的哈！
我现在还在时差中可以说I have/feel jet lag. 倒时差叫做，get over the jet lag
For example，I can't go to the party tonight: I'm still not over the jet lag.我今晚没法去聚会了，因为我还在倒时差。

sorry可能是你在英语中学到的第一个单词。很多时候sorry仅仅是道歉，但是通常我们说sorry不是因为我们做错了某事，而是表示你明白某人心情不好，或者只是安慰某人。

4. At least the flight wasn’t canceled.
At least the flight wasn't canceled. 至少航班没有取消
取消和别人之间的约定也可以用cancel来表示，今天小E老师突然得了重感冒，不能给大家上课了，所以对助教老师Annie小姐姐说Please call the students and tell them that class tonight is cancelled.请给学生们打电话说今晚的课取消了。

5. Take it easy.
Take it easy.. 放松，休息，别过分劳累
The doctor told me to take it easy for a weeks.
