A simpleton's wife told him to buy some ice.

一个傻子的妻子叫他去买冰。

Two hours later, he didn't come back. so his wife went out to have a look. She sawher husbandwas standing in the sun at the gate and watching the ice melting.

两小时后，他还没有回来。于是他的妻子便出去看看。她看见她的丈夫站在门口的太阳底下，看着冰融化。

"What's the matter?" She asked him. "Why don't you bring it in?"

“怎么回事?”她问道。“你怎么不把它拿进来?”

"I saw the ice was wet and I was afraid that you would scold me so I'm running it dry." The simpleton answered.

“我看冰是湿的，怕你会骂我，所以我在把它晒干。”傻子回答道。

One night just before Valentine's Day a woman had a lovely Dream about a beautiful necklace.
