According to the Daily Mail of December 8, a rare copy of John James Audubon's Birds Of America was sold at 7,321,25 pounds ($11.50 million)， making it the world's most expensive printed book. With only 119 copies existing, the 40-inch-high (1.02-meter-high) book has illustrations of almost 500 breeds。
