诗歌:咏黄水仙花

       To Daffodils

             By Robert Herrick

         Fair Daffodils,we weep to see
            You haste away so soon;
            As yet the early-rising Sun
            Has not attained his noon.
            Stay,stay,
            Until the hasting day
            Has run
            But to the even-song
            And,having prayed together,we
            Will go with you along.

         We have short time to stay,as you
            We have as short a spring;
            As quick a growth to meet decay,
            As you,or anything.
            We die,
            As your hours do,and dry
            Away,
            Like to the summer's rain,
            Or as the pearls of morning's dew,
            Never to be found again.

             咏黄水仙花

                郭沫若 译

           美的黄水仙,凋谢得太快,
              我们感觉着悲哀;
              连早晨出来的太阳
              都还没有上升到天盖。
              停下来,停下来,
              等匆忙的日脚
              跑进
              黄昏的暮霭;
              在那时共同祈祷着,
              在回家的路上徘徊。

           我们也只有短暂的停留,
              青春的易逝堪忧;
              我们方生也就方死,
              和你们一样,
              一切都要罢休。
              你们谢了,
              我们也要去了,
              如同夏雨之骤,
              或如早晨的露珠,
              永无痕迹可求。

罗伯特-赫里克(1591-1674),英国诗人,出生于伦敦,就读于剑桥大学圣约翰学院,获文学硕士学位。主要作品有诗集《赫斯帕里迪斯》等。

在这首诗中,诗人以黄水仙凋谢得太快来感叹人生匆忙而短暂,是一首典型的借物抒情的诗。诗句感情真挚,而郭沫若的翻译,更是用丰富的汉语词汇使这首诗的词句更为动听。
