  七年级英语故事:河马先生的魔术

Mr. Hippo often wears a hat,He’s a great magicion。

Now he is performing on the stage,He takes off his hat and shows it to everybody。

It’s empty inside,Then he puts a little handkerchief on i——Now the rabbit puts his hand inside it And he catches one white pigeon

The white pigeon flaps his wings and flies away A fox sees this His mouth begins to water He says You are great Mr. Hippo

Could you please make Then Mr. hippo covers the hatwith the handkerchief muttering at the same time

The fox runs up to the stage and says

Let me have a try this time

He can’t wait for Hippo’s answer

And put his hands in the hat

He tires his best to seizes a pigeon

But suddenly he cries out

It is a hedgehog this time

The hedgehog stabs him and runs away

The fox is hurt badly in his hand

and everybody laughs at him

Then he leaves the stage

  七年级英语故事:夸父追日

Kua Fu tried his best to chase the sun. When he arrived at the place where the sun set, he had to turned around, as he could not bear the thirst, and came to the Yellow River and the Wei River.

夸父竭尽全力追赶太阳。当他追赶太阳降落的地方时, 由于忍受不了干渴,只好掉转头,回到黄河、渭河所在的地方,一口气便将这两条河里的水喝得精光。

In one breath, he quaffed up all the water in both rivers. Though he drank up two rivers, he still felt thirsty, and he decided to go to the large lake in the north for a good drink. On the way to the north, Kua Fu eventually died of thirst

The walking stick thrown down by him, being nurtured by the nourishment converted from his dead body, unexpectedly bloomed and fructified, and it grew into peach woods, which stretched for thousands of miles.

Lion was awakened from sleep by a Mouse running over his face. Rising up in anger, he caught him and was about to kill him, when the Mouse piteously entreated, saying: “If you would only spare my life, I would be sure to repay your kindness.” The Lion laughed and let him go.

一只老鼠从一只狮子面前跑过去,将它从梦中吵醒.狮子生气地跳起来,捉住老鼠,要弄死它.老鼠哀求说:“只要你肯饶恕我这条小生命,我将来一定会报答你的大恩.”狮子便笑着放了它.

It happened shortly after this that the Lion was caught by some hunters, who bound him by strong ropes to the ground. The Mouse, recognizing his roar, came up, and gnawed the rope with his teeth, and setting him free, exclaimed: “You ridiculed the idea of my ever being able to help you, not expecting to receive from me any repayment of your favor; but now you know that it is possible for even a Mouse to confer benefits on a Lion.”

后来狮子被几个猎人捉住,用粗绳捆绑倒在地上.老鼠听出是狮子的吼声,走来用牙齿咬断绳索,释放了他,并大声说:“你当时嘲笑我想帮你的忙,而且也不指望我有什么机会报答.但是你现在知道了,就算是小老鼠,也能向狮子效劳的.”
