Wuhan University has a glorious revolutionary tradition and enjoys a very high academic status. 历史变迁1893 Ziqiang Institute，the former of Wuhan University，was founded.
1893年武汉大学的前身自强学堂创力。1928 It was named National Wuhan University.
1928年定名为国立武汉大学。1937 Wuhan University was moved to Leshan，Sichuan Province.
1937年学校被迫迁往四川省乐山县(今乐山市)。1946 Wuhan University was returned to Luojia Hill，Wuhan.
1946年学校迁回武汉洛咖山。
