If your school doesn't already collect yoursmartphones before you go to class, we're certain that it will start doing soafter seeing this new mobile app. Per Engadget, an app called PhotoMath isevery math teacher's worst nightmare come to life as it will solve equationsfor you just by using your smartphone's camera.
如果你们学校在上课前还没开始没收你们的手机，那么在看到这款手机APP后，你们学校应该就会这么做了。根据Engadget的报道，一款叫做PhotoMath的应用软件正成为每个数学老师最可怕的梦魇，因为使用这款APP，就可以帮助你解答数学方程式。
As you can see in the video posted below,the app uses your camera to scan the page for math ematical symbols and will then decipher the precise syntax of the problem it sees and then solve it.
这款应用软件使用摄像头扫描数学符号，随即就可以给出答案。So far, the app can read basic arithmetic expressions, fractions, powers and roots, and simple linear equations — inother words, you shouldn't expect it to do your calculus homework for you just yet, though we're sure its capabilities will get even more impressive if itproves to be a hit.
