勤俭节约
There is not a (no) thrifty man but becomes a rich man sooner or later. Why? Because he will not spend such money as is unnecessary. Little by little his money will accumulate. Ten to one, he is bound to make a fortune.I do not like such men as spend their money in a wrong way. They do not know extravagance is a bad thing. It can only make them happy for the time being. In short, thrift makes poor men rich and extravagance makes rich men poor.

节约资源
Energy shortage is a huge problem for modern society, and it has a negative impact on People's daily life and economic development. Many elements account for energy shortage. Firstly, rapid economic development prompts an increase of energy consumptions in different industries. Secondly, population growth creates greater demands for household energy usage. Thirdly, people have yet to develop the sense of energy conservation. Actually we can do a lot to save energy in daily life. Turn off lights and fans when nobody is in the room; design buildings with the concept of energy saving; use public transit instead of private cars in rush hours... It is very easy for us to do these things as long as we have the sense of energy conservation, and we should do it right now!

节约用水
As we all know, water is essential in our daily life. We drink water every day, we use water to wash things and cook food, we also use water to make machines. People can't live without water.
我们都知道水对于日常生活的重要性。我们每天喝水，用水洗东西和烹制食物，我们还用水来制造机器。离开水，人类亦不能生存。
Though about 75% of the earth is covered with water, only 3% of it is fresh water. So we must save water by having a shower instead of a bath. We can save water by fixing dripping taps immediately and we can also save water by not washing under a running tap.
虽然地球75%都被水覆盖，但其中只有3%是淡水。所以我们应该用淋浴代替泡澡来节约水，同时及时修好滴水的水龙头，并且不要开着水龙头洗东西。
