我心目中的奥运英雄 Hero in My Heart

Of all theChina's medalists, Liu Xiang is thehero of my heart. I will never forget the time when he broke through thefinishing line first and won men's 110 meters hurdle final and got a gold metalin 2004 Athens Olympic Games. Since then, he became a sport star of my heart.

在所有的中国金牌获得者中，刘翔是我心目中的英雄。我不会忘记他第一个冲到重点线获得2004年雅典奥运会男子110米跨栏决赛金牌的那一刻。从那以后，他就成了我心目中的体育明星。

However, things turn bad when he quitted thelist from the 110-meters hurdles owing to a foot injury in 2008BeijingOlympic people started to blame him and questioned if Liu Xiang can really be areal star. But in my heart, I still believe that my hero will never give up. He not only won the gold metal but also broke the world record. It’s the pride ofChinaand itmeans that Asian people can also make some achievements in track and field. What’smore, his sportsmanship sets us a good example of human spirit of transcending a sportsman, he never gives up, no matter what kind of trouble he comes ough he has a foot injury, he overcame it by suffering much pain instead ofgiving up.

然而，当他由于脚伤退出2008年北京奥运会比赛的时候，事情变得更糟了。有的人开始责备他，质疑刘翔是否能够真正成为一位明星。但是，在我心目中，我仍然相信我的英雄不会放弃的。他不仅赢得了金牌而且还打破了世界纪录。这是中国的骄傲，也意味着亚洲人也可以在田径项目上有所成就。更重要的是，他的运动员精神给我们树立了一个很好的人类超越自我精神的例子。作为一名运动员，不管遇到什么样的困难，他都没有放弃。尽管他脚上有上，他忍受了巨大疼痛克服了他而没有放弃。

In this summer's London Olympic Games, wesaw him again. This time, he brought us more moving than regret. He stumbled tothe finishing line with great pain. We can't blame him and he will always be myfavorite athlete and my hero.

这次伦敦奥运会，我们再一次看到他的身影。这一次，他带给我们更多的是感动而不是遗憾。他带着剧痛一瘸一拐走到了终点。我们不可以责备他，他永远是我最喜爱的运动员和英雄。
