男子结婚遭恶搞 新郎穿女式内衣游街

A man sparked fears of kidnapping in Chongqing after he was spotted being paraded with bound hands and wearing only women's underwear.

日前，重庆市一名男子在被市民看到他捆着双手、身穿女士内衣在大街上游行之后，引发了群众对绑架的恐慌。

It turns out he was just the victim of his own wedding.

原来这一切都只是新婚搞的鬼。

Chongqing police who responded to calls of a possible kidnapping said the incident was actually the hazing of a groom-to-be before his marriage ceremony by friends.

重庆警方在回应这起“绑架事件”时表示，其实这只是一群朋友在一名准新郎结婚典礼之前欺负他。

Witnesses reported seeing the lucky groom, surnamed Yang, walking along a Chong-qing street around 9:15 pm with his hands tied behind his back as a man led him by a rope.

据目击这位幸运的新郎的人称，在当天晚上9点15分左右，他们看到这位姓杨的新郎双手被绳子捆在背后，由另一名男子拉着在重庆街道上走走停停。

Police arrived to find that not only was Yang wearing negligee, but also that two cars carrying friends were following the parade, The Chongqing Morning Post reported.

据《重庆晨报》报道，警方赶赴现场后发现，不仅仅只有姓杨的这名男子在游行，他后面还跟了两辆汽车，上面坐的是自己的一群朋友。

Officers took the group into custody on possible obstruction of traffic charges. Surveillance video shows cars swerving around the slow march of shame for 20 minutes that intended to embarrass Yang.

警方为了阻止这些人对交通造成影响，遂将其带回派出所。根据监控录像显示，这两辆车大约在路上逗留了20分钟，一路上不断转弯，走走停停，就是为了看杨的笑话。

Police established the men were hazing Yang as per local custom and they were released.

警方已经证实，这群人之所以欺负杨某只是因为当地习俗，于是便释放了他们。

The story rang up debate on social media about such regional traditions, many of which involve subjecting newlyweds to awkward and embarrassing trials on the eve of their wedding day. Net user "Hu Yidao" called them "corrupt customs that should have long been abandoned."
