萨博被收购 将转型生产电动汽车

Swedish carmaker Saab Automobilehas been bought by a Chinese-Japanese group and will be turned into a manufacturer of electric vehicles focused on the Asian markets.

瑞典汽车制造商萨博汽车(Saab Automobile)被一家中日合资企业收购，将转型生产电动汽车，主打亚洲市场。

The news comes follows speculation about buyers after the carmaker declared bankruptcy in December, two years after General Motorssold it to Dutch group Spyker in 2010.

2010年，通用汽车(General Motors)把萨博出售给荷兰世爵汽车(Spyker)。两年后，萨博于去年12月宣布破产，人们纷纷猜测谁会出手收购。

The buyer is National Electric Vehicle Sweden, owned by Hong Kong-based alternative energy group National Modern Energy and Japanese investment firm Sun Investment. The price was not disclosed.

买家是瑞典国家电动车公司(National Electric Vehicle Sweden)，其所有者为总部设在香港的可替代能源集团国家现代能源控股公司(National Modern Energy Holdings)和日本投资公司Sun Investment。收购价尚未披露。

The group said Saab's first new car would be a modified electric version of the Saab 9-3. It will be ready in early 2014 and sales will initially be focused on the Chinese market.

该集团表示，萨博第一款新电动汽车将从萨博9-3改版而来。这款汽车将于2014年初推出，最初主打中国市场。

Kai Johan Jiang, the main owner of National Modern Energy, said: "Chinese customers demand a premium electric vehicle, which we will be able to offer."

Saab's administrators said: "From the outset, it has been our ambition to find a comprehensive solution by the summer, so we are very pleased today."

Saab recorded deliveries of 133,000 units in 2006 but sold just 31,700 vehicles in 2010.
