中国医务人员遭攻击,6名护士遇害

BEIJING: Seven people, including six nurses, were stabbed to death at ahospital dormitory in northern Chinaon Thursday, the official Xinhua news agency reported, the latest in a stringof attacks on medical workers.

北京：据官方媒体新华社周四报道，中国北方一家医院的职工宿舍里有7人被人捅死，其中包括6名护士。这是继一连串医务人员遭遇袭击事件发生之后最新发生的袭击事故。

A hospital administrator was among those killed and another nurse was seriouslyinjured in the attack, Xinhua said. The hospital is in Beidaihe, a seasideresort close to Beijingfavored by senior members of the ruling Communist Party.

遇害人员中包括一名医院管理人员，另有一名护士在袭击案中受了重伤。这家医院位于临近北京的北戴河海滨度假区，受到中共老党员的亲睐。

A suspect has been detained, the Xinhua report said without providing furtherdetails.

A spate of attacks on doctors and nurses in the past two years has prompted thehealth ministry to provide better security at hospitals.
