中国城市网民性格'中山指数'报告发布

A report on urban netizens shows that Web users from Guangdong Province are more likely to discuss their works than people in other areas, while those from Zhejiang Province spent the most time talking about leisure.

一份关于城市网民的报告显示，来自广东省的网络用户相比其他地区的人更愿意讨论他们的工作，而来自浙江省的网民把大部分时间花在谈论休闲娱乐上。

The study of how netizens in 100 Chinese cities talk on social networks found that netizens in the Guangdong city of Jiangmen regularly discuss their work, while residents of Hangzhou, capital of Zhejiang are more laid back and talk about leisure.

这份关于国内100座城市的网民在社交网络上谈论的话题的研究发现，广东江门市的网民经常讨论他们的工作，而浙江杭州的居民则更为悠闲，讨论的话题是休闲娱乐。

Beijing netizens were found to be paying particular attention to international goings-on on Weibo, while Shanghai and Guangzhou residents showed little interest in news reports in general.

研究发现，北京网民对新浪微博上的国际时事特别关注，而上海、广州的居民一般对新闻报道不感兴趣。

However, topics related to public security are popular on Wechat accounts in the three metropolises.

不过，有关公共安全的话题在这三座大城市的微信账号上很受欢迎。

The "Sun Yat-Sen Index 2016" was released by the Chinese Netizen Social Mentality Research Lab, the Sun Yat-Sen Association of Cyber Culture and the Guangzhou Big Data and Public Dissemination Research Base.

这份名为《2016中山指数》的报告是由中国网民社会心态研究实验室、中山市网络文化协会、广州市大数据与公共传播研究基地联合发布的。

The index is based on big data collected from 2,000 to 5,000 random netizens from 100 cities across the country, surveying behavior on China's most popular online social platforms Wechat, Sina Weibo and Baidu Tieba, said the Xinhua News Agency.

据新华社报道，该报告基于从全国100座城市的2000至5000名随机网民中收集的大数据，调查了国内最受欢迎的在线社交平台微信、新浪微博和百度贴吧上的网民行为。

"Understanding the mentality of urban netizens and how it is developing will help modernize network administration and adjust the social mentality," said Zhang Zhian, vice president of the School of Communication and Design at Sun Yat-sen University.

中山大学传播与设计学院副院长张志安教授表示：“了解城市网民的心态及其发展的方式，有助于实现网络管理的现代化及调整社会心态。”
