只要有人的地方就会有传言，或真或假。有些人传播起谣言来，功力非凡，能把莫须有的事情说得跟真的一样。今天，我们就来说说人们在传播谣言时都是怎么开口的。

1. Have you heard the rumor? Someone said the Smiths got divorced.

你知道吗？听说史密斯夫妇离婚了。




2. I hear she comes from a well-off family.

听说她出生于一个富裕家庭。

3. Did you hear his mother was arrested for tax evasion?

你听说了吗？他妈妈因逃税被抓起来了。

注意:引出传言时,可以用Have you heard, Did you hear、I hear等开始.比如:

Have you heard/Did you hear that Mr. Green is leaving the company?

你听说格林先生要辞职吗？

另外,可以用表示“谣言”的rumor这个词直接来表达，例如：

Rumor has it that /Rumor goes that Mr. Green is leaving the company.

有传言说格林先生要辞职.

4. Apparently,Bill was jilted.

很明显,比尔被女朋友甩了。

注意：Apparently用来表示相当有把握的信息。

5. This is strictly off the record.

可不要对别人说哦。

注意：同样的表达方式还有This is just between us/ you and me（这话到此为止）。
