To talk about a person who has influenced me the most, I think there is none other but my father. Working as a government official, he doesn't appear to be extraordinary in any way, but just working faithfully and peacefully raising his Family, never putting his family or children aside. Yet however regular he may look, he is never ordinary to me, because I've learned many of the most basic and important life lessons from him: family, responsibility, accountability, faithfulness, vision and fulfilling goals, etc.—he is the first and best teacher in my life. As to influence, People all influence one another in one way or another during their contact. But as to whether my father has influenced other people as much as he does to me, I am not sure. Nevertheless I always hear people in the neighborhood talking about him as a model husband and family head. He must have touched some lives.

I'd like people to view me as a determined and strong leader. I need these qualities to be affirmed by people that they can look up to me for leadership.

As I am purposefully trying to avoid the danger of generalization, I can only tell you that there are definitely some people who are very easily influenced by materials things, while it is also certain that there are people who are not so easily influenced by material things; they often tend to have strong personal values.

Do people's characters change as they get older?

People's characters depend on many things, including their experiences, relationships, health and financial situations. As these things change over time, so we also see people's character's change.

In China, the most significant Agriculture outcome in recent decades was hybrid rice,which was developed by a group of scientists whom led by Yuan longping in central China's Hunan outstanding contribution already has been written in the textbooks of my generation.

During the year 1959 to 1961, the most mainland Chinese suffered for a nationwide drought along with serious food shortage and famine. Yuan longping found a special kind of natural hybrid rice, which brought him the idea of cultivating a bran-new super hybrid rice for the entire 40 years studies,his creative team finally developed the super hybrid rice,which was especially suitable for inland regions.

Surprisingly he still continues his research even creativity and continuity deeply remind me that to be constantly reflect on some little things,do not quit easlly for everything,catch every tiny sparks in my mind,and always try to find out other methods to solve a problem. The influence makes me become much positive when difficulties came,and reminds me that be patient all the time on what I am doing. In order to giving the best outcome,I also review the work I did several times and ask others for opinions before I turned in.

Speaking of an interesting person I know from another country, the first one comes into my mind is Mr. Davis. He is the person I met 1 year ago. The time I knew him was when he moved to our locality from a different city. He has a family with 3 members and he is an engineer graduate and has worked as a chief engineer in many reputed organizations as he told me. In his early 40‘s he took self-retirement and now enjoys his time either in developing some mysterious engineering and scientific tools or by travelling to different places of the world.

Mr. Davis mostly wears old-fashioned clothes and has long beard with a strange look in his eyes. To my surprise, I found my conversation with him very interesting as he likes to talk about his plan to invent something very important to change the world. I am not sure what he is up to but it seems very thought-provoking to learn that he really believes that. He travels to hills and forests mostly to stay close to nature as he describes this habit to be helpful for idea generation. People often look at him very strangely and do some small talks about his attitude but I find him to be an interesting person. To my surprise he is a very devoted and dotting father and husband and has a good flow of money even though he does not have a full time job now.

Mr. Davis is really an interesting person. One day he knocked at my door and I opened it. He asked whether I can give him some copper or not. I was pretty perplexed with his sudden appearance and demand for the copper. He told me that he was doing an important experiment and he needs this to carry out his test. I apologized that we do not have any copper to offer him and advised him to visit the nearby shopping complex where he might find it. He returned back after an hour with some bags and thanked me to let him know where he might find the copper he was looking for. He then offered to visit his house and have dinner with him. The whole confrontation took me by surprise and I understood from that very day that he was bit unusual and interesting in nature.

Talking about a family member that has important influence on me, the first one that came to my mind is my father. He is a lawyer. He is the most dependable and hardworking person I have ever known. He often leaves home early and comes back late. Though he is very busy, he always manages to make time for me. Family still comes first to him. To me he is a caring father. When I was a kid, he would watch cartoons with me. Whenever I was short of playmates, he would take the place. So I have a lot of fond memories of childhood.

I think the most important influence he has on me is his attitude toward learning. He did not take law as his major when he was in college. Instead his major was about agriculture cultivation. He learnt the courses all by himself and all together he spent seven years to pass the Judicial Examination. He failed many times but he did not quit. From his experience, I come to realize that it takes great effort to be successful. So every time I met difficulties, I would remind myself to carry on. I have no reason to give up. He really sets a good example for me.
