【影片简介】

Sulu: Yes sir, They’re moving the torpedo into position now.
Kirk: Good, Any activity from the Klingons?

Kirk: Lieutenant Uhura, did you let Starfleet know we have Harrison in custody?
Woman: Yes sir. No response yet.

Kirk: Bones.
Marcus: To understand how powerful these weapons are, we need to open the warhead. To do that, we need to access the fuel compartment. Unfortunately, for us the warheads on these weapons are live.
【知识点讲解】
1. in custody
寇克登上进取号之后，询问麦库斯和麦考伊是否登陆到小行星时，他们还没与星际舰队取得联系，harrison主动投降之后被寇克囚禁在进取号上。custody 这个词有保管，监护，拘留的意思，have sb. In custody就是把把某人投入监狱的意思。
2. work on
当寇克还没有询问道鱼雷的情况时，其他船员向他报告飞船的情况，他们发现了飞船出问题的地方，，并且是实质性的损害，需要努力去修好飞船，这位船员表示自己会尽力把这个问题解决，一定会负责任。Work on意思是从事某一项工作，着手做某事，在此是从事解决飞船这一问题的意思。
3. stay on
那位船员表明自己的态度后，但寇克好像发现了什么，飞船出问题不是船员的问题，他怀疑可能是有人在背后作手脚，所以就对船员说，你继续工作就行了。之后就去关注麦考伊医生在小行星的情况。Stay on后面跟动词的时候，表示维持某一状态，对话中，stay on it是让船员继续工作。
