卡梅隆突然发现自己忘记了最喜爱歌曲的歌词，这首歌从小唱到大，忘了歌词就是忘了自己的根。
1. bend the law/rules
bend the law/rules类似于change the rules，意思是“变通，通融；放松规定“。
Can't you bend the rules a little? I was only a few minutes late.
你就不能稍微变通一下吗？我只不过迟到了几分钟而已。
2. the apple doesn't fall far from the tree
这个表达本来是“the apple never falls far from the tree“，字面上就是“苹果落地，离树不远”。
本意其实是指一个人的行为举止和其父母有相仿之处。
关于apple，这个表达大家很熟悉了：
the apple of sb's eye，意思是（某人的）心肝宝贝，掌上明珠。
3. bother
这里的bother是名词，表示麻烦，烦恼；问题。
I can take you there - it's really no bother.
我可以带你去——一点都不麻烦。
Please don't go to any bother on my account.
请不要为我费心。
I had a bit of bother getting hold of his phone number.
我费了一点工夫才弄到他的电话号码。
4. with every fibre of your being
fibre的意思是（植物或人造物的）纤维，丝；（布、绳等的）纤维；纤维物质；（人体组织的）纤维，也形容人的品质；素质。
with every fibre of your being表示“一心一意；极其地“。
She wanted to win the race with every fibre of her being.
她一心想在赛跑中获胜。
