I wish I had realized earlier that I could have friends, but not be exactly like those friends. You can have friends who are partiers, but not go out with them every weekend. You can have friends who are studious, but not stay in with them all the time. You can have friends who have big plans, but you can set your own goals. You can have friends who are in a rush to get married and grow up, but you don't have to want the same things that they want.
